The Way up to Heaven

"The Way Up to Heaven" is a very odd story. There are two main characters; Mrs. Foster and Mr. Foster and it's based in New York City. Mrs. Foster is a very proper woman and doesn't like to be late or unorganized ever but her husband is the exact opposite. Mr. Foster knows that his wife hates being late so he purposely takes a really long time to get himself out of the house when she's trying to catch a plane to Paris to visit their daughter. He makes her late once and her flight gets postponed. The next morning they try all over again and he starts to aggravate her once more. He takes his time coming downstairs, stretching, and smelling the fresh air, ect. They finally reach the vehicle and he has forgotten the present for their daughter so he has to walk all the way back up and he decides to take the elevator. Mrs. Foster knew that the elevator wasn't in tip top shape but she lets him use it anyways. When Mr. Foster had really made Mrs. Foster mad because he was taking so long she went up to the elevator and heard a faint familiar sound but decides to just ignore it. She goes on her way and leaves her husband in the elevator for the 6 weeks that she's gone to Paris. She arrives and pretends like she never knew he was in there. She didn't exactly kill her husband but she could've saved him too. I wonder what these people think after they kill the one they were married to for so long? It's so weird to me!
